How do I get my API key?

First make sure you have already filled out a Registration form! Once approved and enrolled in a subscription tier of your choice, you can now visit the Developer Portal and sign in with your credentials. Your unique API keys can be accessed in the Dashboard tab of the portal. For a walk through of the process, take a look at the Finding your API Key tutorial.

Where do I find the privacy policy and terms of usage?

Are subscription plans automatically renewed?

Subscription plans are automatically renewed every month, you can monitor this process in the Billing tab of the developer portal. You should receive a reminder email a week before every renewal. For the Basic plan, the price is always $0.00.

How do I upgrade my subscription plan?

You can easily upgrade your current subscription plan to a higher tier. Simply log into your SliceX AI Developer Portal and head to the Billing tab. This will redirect you to your plan options. All upgrades come into effect immediately! You will be charged the subscription fee for the new plan, prorated to reflect the remaining time in billing period. Moreover, you will be reimbursed what you haven't used in your older plan.

How do I downgrade my subscription plan?

You can downgrade your plan the same way as you upgrade, via your SliceX AI Developer Portal. Downgrades come into effect immediately. You won't be charged anything but please note that you will not be reimbursed what you haven't used in your older plan.

How do I cancel my subscription plan?

You can cancel your SliceX AI Cloud Platform subscription plan via your Developer Portal, under Billing. Note that cancellation comes into effect only at the end of the billing cycle, with no reimbursement. We recommend cancellation towards the end of your Billing cycle, to avail of services you have already paid for. You can also always downgrade to a Basic Tier at no extra cost.

What are the supported task types?

The supported task types are:

  • Binary Text Classification: "binary-text-classification"
  • Multiclass Text Classification: "multiclass-text-classification"
  • Multilabel Text Classification: "multilabel-text-classification"
  • Question Answering: "question-answering"
  • Semantic Search: "question-answering" (uses same API as Q&A)
  • Sequence Labeling: "sequence-labeling"

How do I set up a training job?

Why is my training job crashing?

There could be multiple reasons. Rest assured they will be easy to fix! One very common reason includes incorrect formatting of your dataset and configuration JSON files. The detailed requirements can be found here. Review them carefully to ensure your data is formatted correctly. There are also several examples available in the form of tutorials you can start off with.

Another thing to check is that your model choice is the one compatible with your task type. The model families can be reviewed here.

What are the limits on dataset size?

The maximum dataset size (unzipped) that is supported is 2GB.

How do I calculate the cost of a training job?

For information on the Pricing breakdown based on task type and dataset size, visit the Pricing Calculator section. Our pricing scheme is modular and unit based- making it very to compute costs upfront. Some example costs have been provided to help you estimate yours.

How can I improve model quality for my use case?

  • We encourage you to try out our suite of pretrained models for your use case & production needs. We are continually improving our models, as well as developing new ones!

  • Furthermore, you can easily customize your use case and data using our SliceX Trainer API which offers several configuration options (look out for even more options coming soon!).

  • Once trained, deploy your custom model instantly and access it out-of-the-box via the SliceX Predictor API just as easily as existing pretrained APIs.

Can I delete my data and/or trained models?
